The Township of Teaneck along with the Teaneck Economic Development Corporation (TEDC) and the Cedar Lane Special Improvement District (CLSID) presented a Request for Proposals (RFP) to specifically address the economic development relationships in the Township and develop a plan for each.
The completed report produced Findings based upon the research of numerous Township documents; Themes garnered from over thirty personal interviews, representing more than ten governmental, civic and professional groups; and Key Indicators derived from several Economic Summits.
Additionally, to allow the Township to pursue economic development plans to the fullest extent possible, a timetable and cost estimates along with available resources was presented. Action items marked with an asterisk (*) have been designated as priorities, to help jump-start the process.
